I see ... Stripes!

Over at the Crazy Card Party, Patricia has challenged us to use stripes on our project.  This was a fun card and I also tried my hand at stitching on this card.

Warm and cozy!

This week it is Avril's turn to challenge the Party-ers and she has chosen something warm!  For some reason my mind kept going to the recent months and how we all kept warm during the past winter season.  So while we are happy we've turned the corner toward Spring, my card is a homage to the winter past with snowflakes and warm, woolen mittens.

Another one of my favourite things....

Hi everyone.. this week, Sharon has asked us to use our favourite die.  The card I made used a new die set so I'm not certain I could say it is my 'favourite'.  Although the Sizzix leaves die does get a fair bit of work out on my projects - both cards and layouts.  Along with the gold embossing, I also added some gold embellishing on the leaves using a Wink of Stella pen.
