Happy CANADA day!

It's only a few more days until Canada Day and this week Rosanne has challenged us to create a red and white project.  I'm looking forward to Canada Day as we are having a family BBQ and pool party that day and I will also be on vacation next week! YEAH!!!

Without further ado, here is my card....

I guess if black is considered 'another colour' then I missed the mark on this one too!!

Why don't you join us at our Crazy Card Party and help celebrate Canada Day.

Would you care for some Tea??

This week it is Regan's turn to set our challenge.  Several weeks ago, Party-er Patricia invited us to her home for tea.  It was a wonderful afternoon with great food and fabulous different kinds of tea.  One of our desserts was served on a gold doily and we all brought one home.  So this week we are creating projects with our gold doily!!

Here's my card...

I used the new Prima Color Bloom Spray Mist in Gold Foil on the card.  I love it!!
Here's a closer look so you can see the vellum leaves...

Thanks for stopping by and hop on over to our Crazy Card Party and see what everyone has created with their doily!

Stylin' with FLAIR!

This week Dee has challenged us to use FLAIR on our project!  I went with a project 'a la Sharon' and added flair to this layout from our 2013 trip to Tahiti.

Here's a close up look so you can see the FLAIR better.

Thanks for stopping by.  Head on over to the Crazy Card Party, link up your FLAIR project and see what the other party-ers have created!

How many layers?? ONE!

Sorry this post is late everyone.  I spent last week, volunteering on the Media team at the Manulife Financial LPGA Classic, held at Grey Silo Golf Course in Waterloo.  Inbee Park was the winner this year!  It was a great week but I'm a little tired today.  Think I will take it easy!

This week, it is Patricia's turn to set our challenge.  She has asked us to make a one layer card.  As you can probably tell this created a fair amount of 'discussion' among the party-ers!!

Here are my cards...

Hope everyone has a great week and I will see you again on Thursday.
