Fancy Feathers!

This week Patricia has challenged us to use Feathers on our card.  A very nice friend let me use her new PTI dies to create my feather card!  And these feathers seemed perfect for another sympathy card.

Please join our Crazy Card Party with your feathered creations.  Thanks for stopping by my glittery blog spot!

Supplies used:  PTI stamp and die, Memento ink, Recollections embellishments, Tattered Angels and Mister Huey's.

Winnie and Walter - just because

I spent Family Day on Monday, making cards for our Crazy Card Party challenges.  I decided to make a card, just because, using my new Winnie and Walter Stamp Set - Big Bang Confetti.  I also added the sentiment using a one liner Happy Die from PTI.

I love the way it turned out and I'm certain I will be using this stamp over and over again!

Supplies:  Winnie and Walter stamps, PTI die, stamps, ink and paper.

Switch It Up!!

This week at our Crazy Card Party, Avril has asked us to SWITCH IT UP... and I'll admit I had to ask her what she really wanted us to do for this challenge!!!

So over on Pinterest I saw this masculine birthday card from Manitoba Stamper's blog.  She even used sandpaper for the chevrons!!

Using her card as my 'p'inspiration (LOL!) I created a more feminine version.  And here is my 'switched up' card.

Thanks for stopping by and please join us at our party with your switched up project!

Supplies used:  Prima paper, Bazzill cardstock, PTI die, Amercian Craft twine

With Sympathy

This week Sharon has challenged us to create a Sympathy card.  A sympathy card doesn't always come top of mind and this is the first one I've made.  Once I started looking there were lots of lovely designs to celebrate the life of someone special.

Here's my card.....

Supplies used:  Stampin Up embossing folder, PTI stamps, ink and dies.  Inspiration found on Pinterest.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you can join our crazy party!

A little glitter can make anyone's day!

It's my turn to set the challenge over at our Crazy Card Party!!

I saw this technique on Pinterest using Stampin' Up's Heat and Stick and I knew I just had to try it! I love the overall soft, glittery look although I'm not certain this picture actually does it justice. I'll definitely be using this more often!

Now head on over to the party and link up your glittery project.

Supplies used:  Bazzill cardstock, PTI die and stamps, Stampin' up Heat and Stick, DecoArt glitter, American craft ribbon, Ranger Perfect Medium
